Program Officer Malawi

She/Her

I am a human rights advocate focusing on employment and economic empowerment for persons with disabilities. Born and raised in the Mzimba district in the northern part of Malawi, I bring over ten years of work experience in research in development, water and sanitation, demographic dividend, youth, and disability to my role at DRF. Before joining DRF in 2020, I worked with the African Union Commission and Malawi’s statutory corporations.

I hold a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Governance from Africa University in Zimbabwe and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Communication Technology from Mzuzu University, Malawi. I am a 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow.
