Disability Rights Advocacy Fund Logo

These requirements have been developed to ensure the consistent use of Disability Rights Advocacy Fund (DRAF) logos by DRAF grantees. While we do not require that grantees use the DRAF logo, we encourage grantees to use the logo as a way of disseminating information within the disability movement about the existence of DRAF as well as the importance of a rights-based perspective.

The DRAF logo may be used by grantees in project signage (e.g. posters, stickers, t-shirts, banners, etc.), publications, annual reports, or at events and other activities organized as a result of funding from DRAF. If you are producing research reports, policy briefs, draft laws or law amendments, or other such publications as part of your DRAF-funded project, please include the following language when you use the logo:

“This document was produced with funding from the Disability Rights Advocacy Fund (DRAF). Statements of fact and opinion in the present report are those of the respective authors and contributors and not of DRAF. DRAF does not make any representation, express or implied, in respect of the accuracy of the material in this “report/proposal/brief/document” and cannot accept any legal responsibility or liability for any conclusions, assumptions, errors or omissions that may be made.”

ACCOMPANYING TEXT
Any statement of acknowledgment should read:

A Disability Rights Advocacy Fund project (in cases where the sole funding for an event or activity has been provided by DRAF) OR

Supported by the Disability Rights Advocacy Fund (in cases where the project is funded only in part by DRAF)

PROJECT SIGNAGE

Project signage needs to be culturally appropriate and reflect the nature of the partnership accurately. Project signage should include:
• DRAF logo
• Project name
• Name of the organization and their logo
• Statement of acknowledgement

A Disability Rights Advocacy Fund project (in cases where the sole funding for an event or activity has been provided by DRAF) OR

Supported by the Disability Rights Advocacy Fund (in cases where the project is funded only in part by DRAF)

BUSINESS CARDS
If you work for an organization that has received funding from DRAF, do not put the DRAF logo on your business card, as it may incorrectly imply that you are an employee of DRAF.
