The 64th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (New York City) has been cancelled due to concerns about the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

DRF/DRAF, in conjunction with our partners, had planned to hold parallel events on the below topics:

  • “Diversity and Inclusion: Intersectionality is key to uphold rights for all!”
  • “Advancing rights of African women and girls: AU Disability Protocol”
  • “Sexual and Reproductive Health: Whose rights are missing?”

While we may not be holding these events, we encourage you to think about these issues and how they impact women with disabilities.

One in five women is a woman with a disability.

Learn more about how DRF/DRAF works to advance rights for girls and women with disabilities below.
