Director of Development

She/Her

I am a connector, agitator, idea mover, and strategist working to make philanthropy more inclusive and democratic. I view fundraising as a way to #ShiftThePower by moving money and by challenging philanthropy to revise the structures that dictate who can access funds and limit how funds can be spent. Joy, authenticity, community care, active listening, naming tensions, and humor are my love languages that power a lot of my work.

Prior to joining DRF, I worked for both large and small nonprofits, a private foundation, and both city and federal government, and studied sociology and community health at Tufts University. I currently sit on boards of the Human Rights Funders Network and Disability and Philanthropy Forum, and am a proud member of Disability Lead.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, watching theater and magic, aunting, sending snail mail, doing crossword puzzles, and playing games with friends. I live in Chicago with my husband, daughter, and dog, and you can often find us enjoying long walks in the neighborhood.
