Senior Advisor, Inclusion and Accessibility

She/Her

I have over two decades of experience in finance, non-profits, the arts, healthcare, communications, and human rights. After being DRF’s first hire in 2008, I have been a key player in DRF’s growth and have enjoyed growing and learning with DRF. I was born and raised in Louisiana and tossed a coin to decide where to go after college, landing me in Boston.

I have written publications and blogs, and produced the ‘Inclusion 101’ series, touching on the importance of inclusion and accessibility. I hold a master’s degree from Harvard University. As a user of sign language, Braille, screen readers, and as an assistive device expert, I bring a unique perspective on disability and inclusion.

One of my hobbies – salsa dancing – became a passion and a cause, leading to the founding of Silent Rhythms, a non-profit that promotes access to the arts for people with disabilities. I have dedicated my life to advancing disability rights including previously serving as a commissioner on the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Persons with Disabilities.
